In this new position, you will play a key role in helping to establish efficient bookkeeping systems and procedures that align with MTD requirements. You’ll work closely with accountants and clients to ensure accurate financial records and digital reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain financial records for multiple Accountancy Practice clients.
- Assist in setting up and implementing new bookkeeping processes to support Making Tax Digital (MTD) compliance.
- Assist clients with MTD setup.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and management reports.
- Liaise with clients to collect financial information
- Support accountants with year-end processes and general administrative duties.
About You
- 2–3 years of bookkeeping experience
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and VAT.
- Proficient in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.
Flexibility offered 30 - 40hours per week.
