We are seeking a skilled and motivated Design Engineer to join a Dungannon based engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical design, a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, and a practical, hands-on approach to product development.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on robust machinery with involvement from initial concept through to production and testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce engineering drawings, and assembly instructions using CAD software
- Collaborate with production, fabrication, and procurement teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective.
- Modify existing products for improvements
- Maintain up-to-date design records, bills of materials (BOMs), and documentation
Skills & Experience Required:
- Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in a design engineering role.
- Proficient in 3D CAD software
- Strong understanding of steel fabrication, welding techniques, and mechanical assemblies.
