You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of office equipment at customer sites. You will provide high-quality customer service and ensure that machines are functioning at optimal levels to meet client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and test office equipment (printers, photocopiers, fax, computers) at customer locations.
- Provide preventative maintenance services and conduct routine check-ups to ensure office machines are operating efficiently.
- Diagnose and repair faults and malfunctions
- Maintain accurate records of service visits, repairs, and customer feedback.
- Maintain a stock of necessary parts, tools, and equipment for efficient service delivery.
- Engage in sales activities by identifying new business opportunities and presenting solutions to clients.
- Prepare sales proposals and quotations for new machines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an IT service engineer or in a similar technical service role.
- Network connectivity experience
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Knowledge of Sage preferred (not essential)
- Ability to recognise sales opportunities.
