We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and optimise all operational activities including warehouse, manufacturing, and transport. This is a newly created role, reflecting the growth and evolving demands of the business. You will have the opportunity to shape operational processes, drive efficiency, and make a real impact on service, delivery, and cost performance. You will lead a team of 10–15 people, including buyers, drivers, supervisors and warehouse operatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead warehouse, manufacturing and driver teams, setting clear standards and accountability.
- Manage goods-in, stock handling, storage, and dispatch processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Oversee production planning, output, and resource utilisation, reducing waste and bottlenecks.
- Direct transport operations, including route planning, driver management, and on-time delivery.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, operational standards, and legal requirements.
- Drive operational efficiency, cost control, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Sales, and Finance to support overall business performance.
