We are seeking a Sales Support Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to a sales team and ensuring a seamless experience for clients. You will act as a vital link between the sales department and customers, assisting with enquiries, processing orders, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Assist the sales team with administrative tasks, including preparing quotes and processing orders.
- Process purchase orders from sales reps and forward to despatch team
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate information
- Maintain up-to-date records of customer interactions and transactions in the company database.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
- Support the sales team in achieving targets by providing necessary resources and information.
- Prepare reports on sales activities and customer feedback for management review.
- Occasional Counter Sales duties
Requirements
- Previous experience in a sales support or customer service role is preferred.
- Knowledge of engineering equipment would be beneficial (not essential)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- A positive attitude towards learning new skills and adapting to changing environments.
