To support a fast-paced warehouse operation, ensuring accurate and efficient order fulfilment across retail and e-commerce channels. The role involves picking, packing, and processing orders using handheld devices and warehouse systems, carrying out quality checks, and completing compliance documentation.
This is a hands-on, physically active role requiring attention to detail, high energy, and a commitment to maintaining excellent warehouse standards. A continuous improvement mindset and willingness to support lean initiatives are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and process orders accurately using handheld scanners and warehouse systems
- Handle both palletised goods and single-case e-commerce orders.
- Load and unload trailers safely
- Carry out quality checks prior to dispatch.
- Maintain accurate stock control and update systems accordingly.
- Support cycle counts and investigate stock discrepancies.
- Complete dispatch and compliance documentation accurately.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Experience in a busy warehouse, dispatch, or fulfilment environment.
- Ability to pick and process orders accurately to deadlines.
- Experience using PPT or similar equipment.
- Good understanding of stock control, accuracy, and safe working practices.
Desirable
- Experience with WMS/ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central).
- Experience in retail, logistics, FMCG, or multi-channel fulfilment.
- Forklift licences (Counterbalance / Aisle Master).
- Experience with lean or continuous improvement practices.
