In this multi-faceted role you will ensure that products are picked, packed and shipped with accuracy. You’ll be responsible for maintaining stock levels, assisting with deliveries, and occasionally supporting a trade counter team with customer queries. Prior warehouse experience is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders from the warehouse, ensuring that all items are correctly prepared for shipment.
- Assist with stock control, including restocking shelves and checking inventory levels
- Prepare and ship orders
- Occasionally assist at the trade counter answering product queries, and processing orders.
- On occasion, drive company vehicles to deliver goods to customers
- Perform a variety of tasks within the warehouse to maintain smooth operations, including organising stock, and other tasks as required.
The Person
- A full, clean UK driving license is essential, as occasional delivery driving is required.
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is required
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems is advantageous.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus.
- Reliable and physically fit
