Warehouse Team Leader / Supervisor | 4.5 day week
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional with previous supervisory or team leadership experience to join an established operation.
You will lead a team of 8 warehouse operators, overseeing the day-to-day warehouse activities across a Monday–Thursday 8am–6pm shift, with an early finish on Friday at 12 noon.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee picking, packing and dispatch to ensure timely fulfilment.
- Supervise, train and allocate workloads to warehouse staff.
- Monitor stock movements inwards and outwards using SAP.
- Achieve daily pallet movement KPIs.
- Identify potential delays and take action to keep warehouse operations running smoothly.
- Liaise with the Warehouse Manager, transport companies and drivers.
- Carry out stock checks and report shortages or damaged goods.
- Ensure all health, safety and hygiene procedures are followed.
Experience & Skills
- Previous experience in a Warehouse Supervisor, Team Leader or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of warehousing, logistics and distribution.
- Experience with WMS/SAP and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Good understanding of stock control and supply chain processes.
